It’s no problem at all, don’t give it another thought. And certainly don’t give it any social-media posts. Be nice and refrain from saying anything negative about the Chinese economy. Be a good social-media citizen!
The list of things that you’re not supposed to talk about in China is a long one, but one of the things is any warning signs on China’s economic horizon, like its imploding real estate industry. Because appeasing the Chinese Communist Party is eleven tenths of its job, the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo is happy to let you know if you slip up.
Reclaim the Net published an English translation of the kind of thing that Weibo users who transgress are seeing: “Hello teacher, please be sure to pay attention to the standards of speech when posting recently, and do not post any comments that badmouth the economy. Thank you for your cooperation!”
So the Chinese economy is very sensitive to any criticism. Anyone in such a crappy and fragile condition would have to be, I guess.
